Meet Jamie Schneider

M.Ed., LPC

I enjoy working with individuals who are going through difficult moments in their lives due to concerns such as learning disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), anxiety, peer conflict, trauma, shame or a lack of self-worth. Are you a parent who experiences a range of parenting emotions and wonders what factors will determine what is best for your child's needs? I'll be able to help you figure things out. Maybe the idea of expanding your family through adoption has peaked your interest. One of my life's driving passions is assisting people through these difficult stages of life.

It is critical to be able to process the events and feelings that arise when parenting gets real, and I am able to offer solutions and resources to aid in meeting your family's unique needs. I am certified in the ADOS-2 Autism Diagnostic Observation for all ages and offer Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) assessments.

Children and teenagers go through a wide range of life experiences, each of which leaves them with a complicated set of emotions. Learning challenges, playground politics, and pornographic exposure are just a few of the daily stresses that can have a big detrimental impact on a person's feeling of self-worth. Abuse of any form, whether emotional, physical or sexual inflicted on a child can make it difficult for the child to navigate life.

Everyone requires a safe environment in which they may freely express themselves without fear of being judged based solely on the outcome of their efforts and what might emerge during this time. When a person is at peace, they are aware that they are significant which is the most important thing. I can help you or your child recognize themselves as capable and complete human beings.
